ASP.NET (sometimes referred to as ASP+) is part of Microsoft's .NET platform which can be used to build web sites, web applications as well as web services.

ASP.NET is the successor to Microsoft's Active Server Pages (ASP) technology.

Using ASP.NET requires a Windows Host.
